Human Capabilities (IDG)
The inner skills that enable us to act with depth, responsibility and presence.

Human growth does not happen automatically. While tensions create pressure and regulators shape our responses, our ability to learn, adapt, relate, collaborate, and act depends on the capabilities we develop over time.
Human capabilities shape how we understand ourselves, engage with others, navigate complexity, and contribute to the world around us. They are not fixed traits. They can be cultivated through experience, reflection, practice, and intentional development.
My philosophy views these capabilities through five interconnected dimensions of the Inner Development Goals (IDG) Framework: Being, Thinking, Relating, Collaborating, and Acting.
Understanding these capabilities helps us recognise the capacities that support personal growth, leadership development, and meaningful transformation.
Transformation is not only about what we face or how we respond.
It is also about who we are becoming.
Human capabilities help explain what enables growth and development. Yet growth alone does not explain how transformation occurs. It unfolds through a series of stages as individuals encounter disruption, confront reality, regulate their behavior, clarify what matters, and align their actions with who they want to become.
